The Ultimate Fitness and Nutrition Program Level 1
This 12 week course is for you if you can answer yes to any of these questions. Are you interested in losing 10-30 pounds? Have you been working out for months without seeing any significant changes? Are you intimidated and confused by many pieces of equipment at a health club? Do you need motivation? Are you not sure what to do to achieve your fitness and health goals?
The program includes:
- A structured eating plan with recipes, weekly menue cards and grocery lists
- 24 training sessions to focus on strength and flexibility
- Weekly lectures with topics such as dining out, strength training, cardiovascular exercise, nutrition, portion sizes and more
- Fitness assessments at the beginnning, middle and end of the program
- Goal setting to set and achieve specific weight and fitness goals

The next Level 1 session begins September 22, 2008 and will run through December 13, 2008.
This is just in time to learn how to get through the holiday season without adding the 5 extra pounds that most Americans put on between Thanksgiving and New Year's.
Informational session will be held on September 15, 2008 at 7 p.m. This program is open to members and non-members.
Level 2 of The 12 Week Ultimate Fitness and Nutrition Program will begin July 15, 2008.
This is an 8-week course to continue the journey and the progress made in Level 1. It will take you tot he next level of fitness and introduce you to a variety of methods that you can use to enhance your fitness routines. You will continue to be held accountable as you strive to attain your fitness goals and help you realize your full potential toward a sustainable healhy lifestyle.
Kathy's Story
My journey began a couple of years ago when I was feeling very overwhelmed with my life. I was not sleeping well so I always looked and felt tired. I never seemed to have enough energy and was often disappointed by what I saw in the mirror. Does any of this sound familiar to you? I decided I was tired of being tired! I needed a plan! I needed to make crucial lifestyle changes in order to recapture ME and change my life. I did countless hours of research and created a plan that would change my eating habits and incorporate both cardiovascular training and strength training into my weekly routine. I set a start date, created shopping lists for my meal plans and organized a workout routine the best I could. I knew these changes wouldn’t happened to me overnight. I needed time to reach the goals of my new plan. I was willing to commit to 3 months at a time. I hoped to see some changes in that time, but I really had no idea how successful I could truly be in just a 12 week program. I took a “before” photo to document my actual starting point. I looked at the tired woman in the photo and then put her away and refused to see her until my challenge was over. It was hard work, and yes I did get sidetracked but I promised myself I would not throw in the towel because of 1 missed workout or poor meal choice. I realized successful weight management is not gained or lost based on one action, but rather it has become my journey. If I did “cheat” on a meal or was unable to workout I made sure I got right back to my plan as soon as possible. It really was an amazing discovery! In the first 4 weeks I did not recognize many physical changes, but I certainly noticed how much better I was sleeping, how much more energy I had and I was becoming a much happier person. I wanted so much more out of life. I was no longer satisfied with “OK”. I deserve MORE! Once exercise and meal planning became a priority, I found I actually had more time because I had a schedule. By the end of week 8 I needed to buy new clothes. The physical changes were now measurable. Week 12 finally arrived. It was time for the “after” photo. I could not believe the difference 12 weeks made. I was so pleased by the transformation! My new, healthy lifestyle introduced me to the woman I knew was the real me, she was just hidden below self doubt and excuses. But she was in me all the time! I just needed a plan to get her out! I have incorporated several positive lifestyle changes that have totally transformed my body into better health. My journey still continues but the path is much easier now. I am so excited to share my story with you. I look forward to helping all of you reach your goals by giving you the knowledge and the power to make healthier choices. The time for you is NOW!
