Patterson Mill High School wrestler, Corey Meyers, was  selected as The Arena Club’s “Athlete of the Week.”

This past weekend he wrestled in the Dundalk Duals Tournament and had some very tough competition from Cumberland to Alexandria as well as Baltimore. He finished the tournament with a 7-0 record and placing first in his weight class, which helped to propel him onto the State top 25 Wrestlers. His record is now 24-3, with two of his losses being to highly ranked state wrestlers and two losses were to heavier weight class wrestlers. All of this after recovering from a concussion right before the season and bronchitis a few weeks ago.

Not only is Corey a great Wrestler, he is also a great student. He is maintaining a 3.0+ GPA as well as taking some AP classes
